課程目標 |
This course aims to provide a comprehensive introduction to the scientific study of language. The content of the Fall semester will cover traditional analysis of language data, including morphology, syntax, semantics, phonetics and phonology. In the Spring semester, we will look at how other fields, such as psychology, neuroscience and information technology, contribute to our understanding of human language system. Throughout this one-year course, students will explore human language from different aspects and hopefully their interests in linguistics will be kindled. |
